Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using Good Christie ("the Service"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Service. Your continued use of the Service constitutes ongoing acceptance of these Terms.

2. Nature of the Service. Please Read Carefully

Good Christie is a digital Christian guidance service. All guidance and responses are generated by digital guides, automated systems powered by artificial intelligence (AI). By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Our digital guides (including but not limited to Grace, Daniel, and Deborah) are AI-generated personas, not real people. They are not pastors, counsellors, or clergy, and they do not speak for God or possess prophetic abilities.
  • All guidance, prayers, and responses are generated by artificial intelligence and are provided for personal encouragement and reflection purposes only.
  • Responses are not factual, predictive, or reliable. They should not be treated as truth or used as the basis for any decision.
  • The Service is not a substitute for professional advice of any kind, including but not limited to medical, psychological, financial, legal, or relationship counselling.
  • Responses may vary between sessions, between guides, and over time. This is a normal characteristic of AI-generated content and does not indicate error or defect.
  • You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on content generated by the Service.

If you do not accept that this is an AI-powered guidance service, you must stop using it immediately.

3. Account Registration

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • You must provide accurate and truthful information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
  • You may only create one account. Creating multiple accounts is strictly prohibited. If we determine that you have created multiple accounts, we reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate all associated accounts and forfeit any free or promotional credits across all accounts. We will not forfeit credits you have paid for without offering a refund of the purchase price.
  • You may not share your account credentials with any other person or allow anyone else to access your account.

4. Credits and One-Time Purchases

  • The Service operates on a credit system. Each message sent to a guide costs credits.
  • New accounts may receive complimentary credits upon registration. The amount of free credits may change at any time without notice.
  • Additional credits can be purchased via Stripe. Pricing is shown in your local currency where supported. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
  • Promotional offers, including first-purchase bonuses, may be available from time to time. These are limited to one per person, not per account.
  • Credits are digital goods delivered immediately upon purchase. By completing a purchase you consent to immediate delivery of the digital content.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Existing purchased credits will not be affected by price changes.
  • Credits do not expire while your account remains active and in good standing.

5. Subscription Plans and Auto-Renewal

We offer optional weekly subscription plans (each a "Subscription"). The following terms apply to all Subscriptions; any state-specific protections continue to apply where required.

  • Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (typically weekly) at the then-current price for that plan, until you cancel. Your payment method will be charged at the start of each renewal period.
  • Length of term: Subscription terms continue indefinitely until you cancel.
  • How to cancel: You can cancel at any time through the Stripe billing portal linked from your account settings, or by emailing hello@goodchristie.com. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain access through the period you have already paid for.
  • Price changes: If we change the price of a Subscription, we will give you advance notice and the option to cancel before the new price applies.
  • Acknowledgement: After you start a Subscription, we will send you an email summarising the plan, renewal terms, and cancellation instructions.

California residents: California law (Business and Professions Code §17600 et seq.) requires us to disclose auto-renewal terms clearly and conspicuously before you subscribe, and to make cancellation available online. You can cancel any Subscription online at any time through the Stripe billing portal linked from your account.

6. Refunds

Because credits are digital goods delivered immediately upon purchase, refunds are limited. If you believe a charge was made in error, or you have a billing concern, please contact us within 30 days at hello@goodchristie.com and we will review your case in good faith.

Refunds are typically considered in cases of:

  • Duplicate or accidental charges.
  • Technical issues that prevented you from using credits you paid for.
  • Recent purchases where you have not used the credits.

We are unlikely to issue refunds where you have already consumed the credits, where you are dissatisfied with AI-generated content (the Service is described in Section 2), or where you did not understand the nature of the Service as described in these Terms.

Nothing in this section limits any rights you have under applicable law to dispute a payment with your bank or card issuer. We ask that you contact us first so we can resolve the issue, but you are not required to. We will not penalise you for exercising your dispute rights in good faith.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Create multiple accounts for any reason, including to obtain additional free credits, test the Service, or circumvent account restrictions.
  • Attempt to manipulate, hack, reverse-engineer, or exploit the Service, including attempting to bypass rate limits, extract underlying AI prompts, or interfere with the operation of the Service.
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service.
  • Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate our staff, support team, or other users through the Service or related communications.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.

8. Confidentiality and Content Sharing

Your conversations with our digital guides are private to your account. We do not share your messages with other users.

All content generated by our digital guides (including message text, guidance, and responses) is owned by Good Christie and is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not:

  • Reproduce, publish, or distribute AI-generated content for commercial purposes.
  • Present AI-generated content as having been created by a real person, as prophecy or divine revelation, or as factual information.
  • Use generated content to mislead, deceive, or cause harm to any person.

You retain ownership of the messages you send. By using the Service, you grant us a licence to process your messages as necessary to provide the Service.

9. Crisis Intervention

The Service includes an automated safety system. If our system detects messages indicating severe distress or risk of self-harm, your account may be temporarily locked and you will be shown crisis support resources and helpline numbers. This is an automated safety measure and does not constitute professional mental health support, counselling, or therapy. If you are in crisis, please contact emergency services or a crisis helpline directly. The Service is not designed or intended to provide support for mental health emergencies. If you believe an automated decision was made in error, see our Privacy Policy for the appeal process.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Grounds for termination include but are not limited to:

  • Creating or operating multiple accounts.
  • Attempting to defraud the Service or its payment systems.
  • Threatening, abusive, or harassing behaviour towards staff or other users.
  • Any violation of the Acceptable Use policy in Section 7.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination or deletion, free or promotional credits are forfeited. If your account is terminated by us in circumstances where you have unused credits you have paid for, we will offer a pro-rated refund for those unused credits, except where the termination is due to fraud, chargeback abuse, or material violation of these Terms.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, branding, guide personas, and AI-generated outputs of Good Christie are owned by or licensed to us. No rights are granted to you other than the limited licence to use the Service for personal use as described in these Terms.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content generated will be accurate, complete, reliable, or suitable for any purpose. AI-generated content may contain errors, inconsistencies, or fabricated information.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Good Christie, its owners, operators, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or emotional distress, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Service exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You acknowledge that the Service provides AI-generated content and that you use it at your own risk. We are not liable for any actions you take, or fail to take, based on content generated by the Service.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Good Christie, its owners, operators, employees, and affiliates from and against any third-party claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or (c) your wilful misconduct in connection with the Service.

15. Informal Dispute Resolution

If you have a complaint or dispute regarding the Service, you agree to first contact us at hello@goodchristie.com and allow us a reasonable period of at least 30 days to resolve the matter before initiating any formal proceeding. We will work in good faith to address your concern. This section does not prevent you from contacting consumer protection agencies or your bank, and does not waive any right you have under applicable law.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

If you are a resident of the United States: these Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms that are not resolved through informal dispute resolution under Section 15 may be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, except that you may instead bring an individual claim in your home state where required by law. Nothing in this section affects your rights as a consumer under the laws of your state of residence.

If you are a resident of the United Kingdom or elsewhere: these Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes by email where possible.
